Aims

My primary aim as a clinician is to develop further an already thriving clinical arm of a successful department. As well as managing musculo-skeletal issues, the use of exercise as a health tool will become increasingly important, and the departments’ skills are well placed to help practice flourish in this area.

I am also keen to closer examine practices in sport, and try to unravel some of the dogma and dressing room mores with the sole aim of optimising participant safety. This includes the management of concussion, cardiac screening, use of analgaesia, and innovative use of equipment to monitor athletes from elites to recreational.
